Top 10 Fighting Games
One of the most popular genres in videogaming, fighting games have been one of those genres that people will clamor for, whether it be solo, online, or in the arcades. Anyone from any skill level can sit down and enjoy a fighting game, whether they be a casual player (read: button masher) or a tournament pro. Here is a look at some of my all-time favorites:

 

Tekken Tag Tournament
The must-have PS2 launch title, Tekken TAG took the series’ great fighting mechanics and added a character swapping element in a great way.
Samurai Shodown
One of the classic 2D fighters from the NEO-GEO era, Samurai Showdown is a great atmospheric fighting game that is well worth a download on the virtual console.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Not only did the Wii entry to Nintendo’s beloved bring the series online, but it also added an intriguing single-player adventure to the mix.
