NewsSkyrim 1.4 patch now live on PlayStation 3
Skyrim update 1.4 expected to hit U.S. "later today"
The much awaited Skyrim 1.4 update has finally arrived on PS3.
According to the latest update from Bethesda, the 1.4 patch is now live for PlayStation 3 users in "many European territories".
Although only available in European territories right now, Bethesda does expect the patch to hit US users "later today".
Bethesda has also warned users not to be alarmed if they are "encountering any strange in-game behavior" immediately after applying the 1.4 patch. This is a temporary effect of Skyrim scripts correcting themselves after the update. Once the process runs its course, be sure to make a new save and restart your PlayStation 3. The said patch is expected to fix the current lag issues plaguing the PS3 version of the game.
The final patch notes for the 1.4 update has been made available and can be found here.
The 1.4 update has been available for PC for quite a while, with Xbox 360 users worldwide receiving the update earlier this morning.
