AMCO BANDAI GAMES LAUNCHES TEKKEN5: DARK RESURRECTION

NAMCO BANDAI’s Legendary Fighting Series Arrives on the PLAYSTATION 3 Computer Entertainment System for the First Time

Leading video games publisher and developer NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc., announced today that TEKKEN 5: Dark Resurrection™, is now available on the PLAYSTATION® Network as an exclusive download for the PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system.

“The release of TEKKEN 5: Dark Resurrection will give players their first opportunity to experience the intensity of the ultimate fighting franchise on a next-gen system,” said Makoto Iwai, Executive Vice President and COO at NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. “With spectacular HD visuals, killer gameplay modes and the biggest playable line-up of TEKKEN characters to date, TEKKEN 5: Dark Resurrection raises the bar in fighting games.”

Boasting new features including the opportunity to play as Jinpachi Mishima, the previously unplayable boss from the arcade game, TEKKEN 5: Dark Resurrection, is a must-have for TEKKEN fans.

The game is also optimized for the HD era with stunning 1080p visuals. It also includes a number of game modes including Arcade Battle which will test players fighting skills in the ultimate showdown; Ghost Battle which allows players to battle CPU ghost opponents in an unlimited series of matches; and a Gallery Mode to view character art and movies. Last but not least, the fighter will also rock TEKKEN fans in the ultimate VS challenge as two players can go up against each other using their saved customized characters in a fight to the finish.
