PLAYSTATION Store Adding Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, MotorStorm video

Sony Computer Entertainment America will update the PLAYSTATION Store on Thursday with Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection™ for the PLAYSTATION®3 (PS3™) computer entertainment system, and an exclusive behind-the-scenes video for MotorStorm™ – just in time for next week’s launch of the brutal, no-holds-barred off-road racing game. In addition, firmware 1.54 for the PS3 system is now available for download, providing enhancements to the video chat functionality.

Below are the details on the new offerings from the PLAYSTATION Store:

  • Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection ($19.99) – The hit that exploded onto the PSP system and arcades now sets out to conquer a new platform, the PS3 system, in stunning 1080p* HD resolution! The cast of characters are all fully playable and visually customizable in this version, along with the playability of Jinpachi, the game’s formidable end-boss.

  • MotorStorm (free video) – Get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and Evolution Studios and learn how they designed MotorStorm, launching March 6 exclusively on the PS3 system. This video features footage from the team's shoot in Utah’s Monument Valley and in-depth interviews with the lead game designer and producers.

  • Download a trailer for an upcoming movie from Warner Bros.

Firmware 1.54 includes the following updates:

Screen Mode has been added as an option in the options menu for video chat. The image of the person you are chatting with during video chat can now be changed to match the screen size. You can now use a compatible USB camera (webcam) compliant with USB video class (UVC) for video chat.

To install the latest system software on your PS3 system, you can select the System Update feature, use a PC to download the update data and transfer it to the PS3 system through storage media or a USB mass storage device, or install it using update data included on an upcoming game disc.
